Top Ten Astra Militarum Vehicles Q1 2025

Q1 will be a time of exploring combinations, detachments and loadouts as the codex has just been released. Below are some better vehicles in the guard arsenal. Unfortunately the basilisk & manticore armoured artillery vehicles are no longer competitive. There are now more efficient infantry-based indirect fire units such as the Field Ordinance Battery and Artillery Team. We will need to see significant point reductions in these models if they want to compete. The LRTC is also considered overcosted as the demolisher cannon has been nerfed. Time will tell how strong this unit its - but 2 orders and shoots on death is excellent.

10: Chimera - weaponized general purpose transport .

9: Taurox Prime - weaponized scion transport.

8: Leman Russ Vanquisher - Cheap costed knight killer.

7: Hellhound - removing cover pairs well with artillery.

6: Scout Sentinel - Reroll 1s to hit is a great buff if you shoot a lot.

5: Leman Russ Tank Commander - Equipped with executioner cannon for strong AP.

4: Rogal Dorn - A really tough under-costed tank.

3: Leman Russ Exterminator - Buffing AP is great strong - helps your RDTC.

2: Rogal Dorn Tank Commander - Well costed armoured officer with a lot of firepower.

1: Taurox - Ultra cheap mobility reigns supreme for scoring.
